Listen On

Off the grid? Keep listening. Limited Access Mode keeps your downloaded books browsable and playable when your session expires or the server can't be reached — plus a home for Downloads on your tab bar, cooler-running transcription, and a batch of playback fixes.

New

  • Limited Access Mode — Stuck in airplane mode at 30,000 feet, mid-ocean on a cruise, deep in a subway tunnel, or camping past the last cell tower? When your session can't be renewed, FableFrog drops into a focused Downloads-and-Settings view instead of stranding you on empty, server-dependent screens behind a sign-in sheet you can't complete. Your downloaded books stay fully browsable and playable, and you reconnect the moment you're back online
  • Downloads as Its Own Tab — Promote Downloads to a top-level tab from the tab bar's customize menu, so your offline library is always one tap away

Improved

  • Cooler-Running Transcription — Background transcription banking now eases off with thermal hysteresis. Once it pauses to let the device cool, it stays paused until the device has fully recovered instead of restarting the instant the temperature dips — so it stops oscillating on and off under sustained heat (Premium · iOS 26)

Fixed

  • No More Silent Chapter Starts — Books played at normal volume no longer drop the first moment of audio at the start of a chapter
  • Seeks Land Where You Tap — Seeking across a chapter boundary now lands on the exact spot you picked instead of snapping to the boundary
  • Ebook Text Clears the Mini Player — The ebook reader reserves space at the bottom so the mini player no longer hides the last lines of text
  • Steadier Series Pages — Series pages now surface a retry option and cap their metadata timeout, so they stop hanging on slow connections
